  1. Attend events at your library

    • Here are a few examples of free events: kids and family storytime​, book/author talks,  lectures,  movie nights, ASL classes, English Classes,  Technology Classes, Advocacy/organization nights
       

  2. Borrow resources from your library​​

    • Many Libraries have more than books! They might also have CDs​, DVDs, tools (yes, even power tools), museum passes, puzzles, board games, sewing machines
       

  3.  Join the library board
     

  4. Volunteer with the Friends of your Library

    • These organizations fundraise, seek out donations for the library, and hold events at and in support of the library
       

  5. Advocate for library funding
